Pioneer Selection, recruiting on behalf of a leading UK manufacturing group, seeks an Electrical Shift Engineer in Halifax. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance on plastic extrusion/injection moulding equipment within a modern, automated facility.

You will work continental days and nights, applying fault-finding and maintenance skills to maximise uptime. A strong electrical bias and NVQ Level 3 are required, with extensive training and progression opportunities.

Qualificações

• NVQ Level 3 Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Experience performing planned and reactive maintenance in industrial manufacturing.
• Electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Support CI projects to maximise equipment reliability and performance.
• Reduce downtime through effective breakdown response.
• Complete maintenance documentation and work orders accurately.
• Assist with machinery installations and commissioning.
• Ensure all work is safe and compliant with procedures.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maximise performance.
