You should have a recognised electrical qualification, such as a relevant City & Guilds qualification or an equivalent apprenticeship-based qualification, together with a sound understanding of electrical systems and maintenance principles. This is an opportunity to transfer your existing skills into a specialist engineering sector with significant long-term potential.
Across the vacancies, beneficial experience and technical knowledge include:
Joining a directly employed technical team means becoming part of the operation, rather than simply delivering a contracted service. You will have the opportunity to build your knowledge, develop your technical expertise and progress within an industry that continues to invest heavily in its infrastructure. The overall package includes competitive basic salaries, performance-related bonuses and overtime opportunities, with shift allowances applicable to the shift positions. Training and professional development provide further scope to build a long-term career. For experienced data centre engineers, this is an opportunity to take the next step with a major operator. For engineers from electrical, industrial, HVAC or infrastructure backgrounds, it could be the move that opens the door to a new and rewarding technical career.
