Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer to join a high-availability Data Centre in West London. The role offers a Continental Days & Nights shift pattern and a salary of £54,000 plus overtime and a comprehensive package.

You will perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance, maintain site logs, liaise with client teams, manage stock, and ensure strict HSE compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrical Engineer (NVQ Level 3 / C&G or equivalent) + 18th Edition.
• Previous critical site experience - Data centers, hospitals etc

Responsabilités

• Maintenance & Planned Works: follow electronic PPM instructions and perform all mechanical and electrical tasks to schedule.
• Fault Finding & Diagnostics: conduct diagnostic analysis across the site's electrical and infrastructure systems.
• Site Logs & Compliance: keep accurate site logs and records for client approval.
• Client Engagement: liaise with client representatives to resolve queries and ensure service delivery.
• Stock & Inventory: monitor and replenish maintenance consumables to meet stock levels.
• Condition Inspections: visually inspect equipment and report potential risks.
• Health & Safety: follow HSE policies and report risks to maintain a zero-harm environment.
• Breakdowns & Emergencies: respond swiftly to breakdowns and on-site requests.
• Continuous Improvement: suggest value-add ideas to improve productivity and service quality.
• Sub-Contractor Management: supervise and report on subcontracted works.

Are you an experienced Electrical Shift Engineer looking to join a high-availability, critical environment? We are recruiting an engineer to maintain operations at a state-of-the-art Data Centre in West London.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Planned Works: Receive electronic PPM instructions vand execute all mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks to strict schedules.

• Fault Finding & Diagnostics: Undertake comprehensive diagnostic analysis across the site's whole electrical and infrastructure system.

• Site Logs & Compliance: Maintain precise electronic and paper records, ensuring an accurate Site Logbook is kept up-to-date for client approval.

• Client Engagement: Liaise directly with client representatives to address queries, maintain outstanding service delivery, and respond promptly to on-site requests.

• Stock & Inventory: Monitor, manage, and replenish maintenance consumables to ensure agreed stock levels are consistently met.

• Condition Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of all installed equipment and submit written reports on potential risks to system reliability.

• Health & Safety: Adhere strictly to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, actively reporting risks to ensure a zero-harm working environment.

• Breakdowns & Emergencies: Respond rapidly to site breakdowns and call-out requests, keeping the client informed on progress.

• Continuous Improvement: Recommend value-add opportunities to Contract Management to enhance productivity, cost-efficiency, and service quality.

• Sub-Contractor Management: Supervise and report on the performance of sub-contracted works on site.

What We Are Looking For
