Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Biased Shift Engineer in King's Lynn to join a leading manufacturing business that is part of a global group. The role involves working on an annualised shift rota including earlies, days, lates and nights.

The position covers fault finding across automation, PLC/SCADA, energy plant, and PMs, with opportunities to work on inverters, motors and conveyors. Salary ranges £59,000–£61,000 with enhanced benefits and pension.

Qualifications

• Completed a time-served advanced modern apprenticeship.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum.
• Ideally HNC / HNC Electrical Engineering.
• Must be happy working an annualised shift rota – hours set for the whole year.
• PLC & SCADA Systems – electrical fault finding.
• Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repair skills.
• Dealt with automation & control systems.
• Must have worked in some form of manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Part of a wider team of engineers.
• Working on a variety of industrial processing equipment, automation, controls, network systems, conveyors, robotics, PLCs, SCADA systems, energy plant.
• Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, PPMs, project work.
• Working on inverters, frequency systems, motors, sensors, circuits, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, relays, VSDs, bearings, shafts.

£59,000 (rising to £61,000 after 6-month training)

As an Electrical Biased Shift Engineer your role & responsibilities will be:
