Job summary

MSW Engineering Recruitment is seeking a time-served Electrician to join our manufacturing maintenance team. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs in a busy facility, working with a small production team.

You will rotate across mornings, afternoons and nights on an eight-hour shift rota, with 12-hour weekend shifts when on rota. Nine days off at the end of every six-week cycle.

Qualifications

• Must be a time-served electrician with an electrical apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in heavy engineering or manufacturing maintenance is desirable.
• Ability to work alone and cover both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Attend breakdowns and implement remedial actions to restore equipment.
• Improve plant availability and reliability through engineering best practices.
• Work in a busy manufacturing environment with a small production team.
