MSW Engineering Recruitment is seeking a time-served Electrician to join our manufacturing maintenance team. You will carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance, fault finding and breakdown repairs in a busy facility, working with a small production team.

You will rotate across mornings, afternoons and nights on an eight-hour shift rota, with 12-hour weekend shifts when on rota. Nine days off at the end of every six-week cycle.

Qualifications

• Must be a time-served electrician with an electrical apprenticeship completed.
• Experience in heavy engineering or manufacturing maintenance is desirable.
• Ability to work alone and cover both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.

Responsabilités

Shift Electrician (time served electrical apprenticeship)

Salary £56,923.78

Are you an experienced time served electrician that is able to work alone covering all aspects of electrical and mechanical maintenance breakdowns (call out cover is provided),

You will be working in a busy manufacturing environment providing checks on equipment and facilities and working closely with a small production team monitoring and supporting on equipment faults and breakdowns where required.

Duties could include; attending breakdowns, carrying out overhauls on machinery, completing remedial correctives and improving the plants availability and reliability by implementing engineering best practice.

A full 6-month familiarity programme of the facility, equipment and process is in place to ensure no engineer ius left to deal with issues that they are not familiar with.

Ideally, you will have worked in heavy engineering previously and worked stand alone previously
