Job summary

Hamilton Rowe Recruitment Services Ltd is recruiting an Electrical Shift Engineer for a large commercial property in Canary Wharf. The role involves hands-on maintenance and ensuring reliability of plant and building services.

You will join an experienced team, with a strong focus on career progression, pension, private health and dental care, and holidays. Overtime is available and there is internal progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installations / Engineering (Level 3) or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial maintenance.
• Strong M&E system experience.
• Must live within commuting distance to Canary Wharf.

Responsibilities

• PPMs & Reactive maintenance.
• Statutory Compliance.
• Single and Three Phase Power, Motors, Generators, Shutdowns, Switchgear, Motors, Emergency Lighting, Fire Alarm Test, AHUs, FCUs, VAVs, Sprinkler Systems, Pumps, Belts, BMS Operation.
• Carry out isolation of plant and systems in accordance with safety requirements.
• Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations.
• Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity and best practice methods.
• Organising subcontractors.
• Completing logbooks and RAMS.
• Reports
• Permits to work
• Raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary

Electrical Shift Engineer

Canary Wharf, East London – £57,000 per annum

This is an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Shift Engineer to work on a large, commercial property based in Canary Wharf. You'll be joining a well experienced team for a well renowned company, well known for their staff retention and for progressing their engineers further within the company.

Salary and Package

• £57,000 per annum
