Job summary

Ashby Finance Ltd. is seeking an Electrical Service Engineer for a site-based role near Warwick with UK travel. You will build, install, commission, service and repair bespoke electro-mechanical machinery, at the Warwick facility and on customer sites across the UK.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical experience and/or an appropriate electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Certification to BS 7671:2018.
• Experience within machine building, servicing or maintenance.
• Experience working with drives, industrial control systems and automation equipment.
• Strong hands-on fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Practical mechanical capabilities.
• Understanding of machinery regulations and British Standards.
• Ability to work in both workshop and customer-site environments.
• PLC programming would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customer sites across the UK to provide servicing and technical support.
• Installing, commissioning and repairing bespoke electro-mechanical systems.

Role Summary

The Electrical Service Engineer will take a varied, hands-on role supporting the build, installation, commissioning, servicing, and repair of bespoke electro-mechanical machinery. Based at an engineering facility on the outskirts of Warwick, the role combines in-house machinery build activities with occasional travel to customer sites throughout the UK. The Electrical Service Engineer will work across electrical panels, control hardware, drives and industrial automation equipment, while also producing technical documentation and supporting machinery safety evaluations.
