Job summary

Intertek Group is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join the Electrical UK team, driving electrical safety evaluations for a diverse client base and managing projects through to completion. You will assess technical docs, communicate findings to customers, and produce high-quality evaluation reports in line with Intertek's quality system.

Qualifications

• Relevant Electrical/Electronic formal qualifications
• Experience with Excel, Word and data retention systems
• Experience with Quality Management System
• Effective communication with customers and team members
• Desirable knowledge of electrical safety standards (IEC/EN 62368/61558/UL62368)

Responsibilities

• Complete electrical safety evaluations for Intertek's clients
• Manage assigned projects within Intertek guidelines
• Assess technical documentation and processes against standard requirements
• Provide project updates to customers and management
• Complete and review Intertek's evaluation test reports
• Ensure evaluations are completed to standard and within set timescales
• Provide technical support to the business
• Attend customer calls and meetings
• Ensure evaluations are conducted in conjunction with Intertek's quality system and accreditation requirements
