Job summary

City Facilities Management Ltd is seeking an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor in North Yorkshire. The role is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours/week) focused on electrical safety, compliance, and supervision.

You will oversee safety procedures, certify minor electrical works, conduct audits, and ensure calibration and documentation are up to date in line with NICEIC and statutory requirements.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification is required with 18th edition
• Inspection and testing of electrical installations qualification (2391 or equivalent)
• Experience in overseeing electrical safety and compliance

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical safety and enforce City FM electrical safety procedures
• Audit minor works (minimum 10%) and ensure certification and reporting
• Ensure calibration of electrical test equipment and maintain records
• Maintain compliance with Electricity at Work Regulations and IEE guidelines
• Complete handover assessments for new build projects and refurbishments
