Job summary

DFP Services, part of the Vadella Group, is seeking a Qualified Supervisor (Electrical) to join the North East team. You will ensure electrical work complies with BS7671 and NICEIC standards, mentor engineers, and support compliance audits.

Qualifications

• Experienced Qualified Supervisor or Senior Electrician
• Extensive knowledge of BS7671 and electrical compliance requirements
• City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification
• Completed recognised electrical apprenticeship
• Strong understanding of NICEIC requirements and auditing processes
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to mentor and develop engineering teams
• Strong organisational and documentation skills
• A full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Acting as the company's nominated Qualified Supervisor for NICEIC accreditation
• Ensuring all electrical installation work complies with the current edition of BS7671 Wiring Regulations
• Carrying out technical audits, site inspections and quality assurance checks
• Reviewing and signing off electrical certification and documentation
• Providing technical support and guidance to electricians and apprentices
• Assisting with NICEIC assessments and compliance audits
• Supporting development and implementation of safe systems of work
• Investigating technical issues and implementing corrective actions
• Monitoring regulatory changes and ensuring company compliance
• Supporting training and mentoring of engineering staff
• Liaising with clients, surveyors and regulatory bodies
• Assisting with estimating and pricing of electrical works
