Job summary

Vadella Bidco Ltd. is seeking a Qualified Supervisor (Electrical) to join our North East team.

The role is field-based, with a focus on ensuring compliance with BS7671 and NICEIC standards across our projects, including care facilities and public sector contracts. You will lead electrical compliance, mentor engineers, and collaborate with managers and electricians to deliver high-quality, safe installations and timely certifications.

Qualifications

Qualified Supervisor or Senior Electrician experience.
BS7671 wiring regulations knowledge.
City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
18th Edition qualification.
Completed UK electrical apprenticeship.
NICEIC auditing familiarity.
Strong leadership, communication and mentoring.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

Act as the company's nominated Qualified Supervisor for NICEIC accreditation.
Ensure electrical installation work complies with BS7671 and NICEIC requirements.
Carry out technical audits, site inspections and quality assurance checks.
Review and sign off electrical certification and documentation.
Provide technical support to electricians and apprentices.
Assist with NICEIC assessments and compliance audits.
Develop and implement safe systems of work.
Investigate issues, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance.
Support training and development of engineering staff.
Liaise with clients, surveyors and regulators as required.
Assist with estimating and pricing of electrical works.
