Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week
Salary: £52,000 – £57,000k DOE
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualifying Supervisor (NICEIC) to oversee electrical compliance, inspection, testing and certification across commercial M&E projects.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
Maintain compliance with NICEIC, EAS and BS 7671 requirements.
Review and sign off electrical certification and documentation.
Carry out site inspections and audits across live projects.
Oversee electrical inspection, testing and safe isolation procedures.
Manage and support EICRs, including correct coding of non-compliances.
Liaise with NICEIC representatives regarding annual surveillance.
Provide technical guidance and training to electricians and project teams.
Support compliance relating to BS 5266 Emergency Lighting.
Ensure electrical test equipment is correctly maintained and calibrated.
Requirements
Previous experience as an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor or similar electrical compliance role.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
City & Guilds 2391-52 Inspection & Testing.
Current ECS Gold Approved Electrician Card.
Minimum 2 years’ recent EICR experience.
Strong knowledge of BS 7671, Guidance Note 3 and the On-Site Guide.
Strong commercial/industrial three-phase and single-phase experience.
Good IT, communication and organisational skills.
Emergency Lighting / BS 5266 knowledge desirable.
