Responsibilities

• Coordinate LV switchgear replacement projects and electrical works.
• Plan and schedule labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.
• Prepare procurement schedules and manage long-lead equipment delivery.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, site teams.
• Support electrical shutdowns and system changeovers.
• Manage project documentation (RAMS, programmes, records, O&M).
• Attend progress meetings and report updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and resolve scheduling, resource and delivery issues.

Electrical Project Support Co-ordinator

Salary: £50,000 per annum + Fully Expensed Company Vehicle

Location: Ipswich

Do you have a background in electrical engineering or installation and the organisational skills to help deliver multiple projects successfully?

We are recruiting an Electrical Project Support Co-ordinator to join a growing specialist electrical engineering contractor, working on a range of important electrical infrastructure projects.

Reporting to the Electrical Operations Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating projects from initial award through to final handover, ensuring work is planned effectively and delivered safely, on time and within budget.

The Role

• Co-ordinating LV switchgear replacement projects and associated electrical infrastructure works.
• Planning and scheduling labour, materials, plant and subcontractor resources.
• Preparing procurement schedules and managing the delivery of long lead-time equipment.
• Liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and site teams.
• Supporting the planning and execution of electrical shutdowns and system changeovers.
• Managing project documentation, including RAMS, programmes, technical records and O&M manuals.
• Attending project and site progress meetings and providing updates to key stakeholders.
• Monitoring project progress and helping to resolve scheduling, resource and delivery issues.

About You

• Previous experience within the electrical engineering or electrical installation industry.
• Experience in project co-ordination, planning or scheduling.
• Strong organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Good IT skills
• A full UK driving licence.
