Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an Electrical Project/Site Manager for a major cabling project in Plymouth. The role offers an immediate start on a 9-12 month contract with a day rate of £375-£430, Monday to Friday.

You will oversee delivery, coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, ensure safety, schedule and budget compliance, monitor milestones and progress, and maintain strong client relationships while producing reports.

• Valid SMSTS certificate (essential).

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee a major cabling project based in Plymouth.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project with a strong pipeline of work, offering a 9-12 month contract and competitive day rate dependant on experience.

The Role

• Managing the delivery of a large-scale electrical cabling project
• Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget
• Monitoring programme milestones and project performance
• Managing client relationships and attending progress meetings
• Ensuring all HSE and quality standards are maintained
• Producing project reports and documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager and being proactive in your approach to getting the job done.
• Strong background delivering electrical cabling projects
• Valid SMSTS certificate (essential)
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site teams
• Strong understanding of electrical installation and project delivery
