Job summary

Octopus Energy Group is developing a new power infrastructure line and seeks a Project Electrical Engineer to lead first-of-a-kind projects from concept through energisation. You will own the programme, manage the development budget, coordinate consultants, and drive grid connection activities while delivering value across MV/HV systems in data centres and industrials.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in electrical or power systems engineering; CEng welcome.

Responsibilities

• Own the programme and the development budget from concept to energisation.
• Own the electrical concept through to sign-off including diagrams, switchgear and layouts.
• Lead the grid interface with DNO/TO/NESO, including applications and milestones.
• Budget ownership through completion, including capex inputs and handover plans.
• Take on new, unfamiliar technologies and deliver fast with a hands-on approach.
