Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Project Manager in Electrical Engineering for a 1-year fixed term/secondment position. Hybrid role with Leeds-based location, 37 hours a week, Monday to Friday, focusing on delivering capital projects within budget and schedule and overseeing Electrical systems inspections and testing.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure CDM 2015 compliance while maintaining accurate project data and forecasts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading capital projects to time, cost and quality.
• Knowledge of SAP financial management.
• Experience managing contracts up to £10M per year.
• Strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver capital projects to agreed time, cost and quality.
• Lead a collaborative project team with stakeholders and partners.
• Manage multiple budgets across the financial year.
• Maintain health and safety, risk management and control of work.
• Ensure CDM 2015 duties are fulfilled for assigned programmes.
• Obtain funding approvals and maintain financial governance.
• Maintain accurate project data and monthly expenditure forecasts.
