Job summary

Yorkshire Water is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to join the Asset Delivery team. The role involves leading a team of Project Technicians and delivering MEICA projects across Clean Water, Waste Water and Networks. You will ensure CDM compliance and uphold engineering standards

Hybrid working with travel to Yorkshire Water sites; 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri. Strong background in ICA/automation and regulated utilities is desirable.

Qualifications

• ICA based apprenticeship or Engineering degree or equivalent ONC/HNC/BTEC in ICA Engineering
• Understands the principles of control of works and major MEICA processes
• Knowledge of SI & ICA best practice and standards including automation technologies
• Experience with regulated utilities or asset delivery and relevant safety standards
• Familiar with BS7671, BSEN 61511, BSEN 13849 and BSEN 62061 standards and CDM requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supervision of a team of Project Technicians
• Coordinate design and safe delivery of MEICA projects within Specialist Projects
• Ensure CDM compliance, acting as Principal Contractor and supporting Client/Designer
• Adhere to YW Engineering specs and documentation
• Drive health and safety, risk management, and financial discipline in decisions
