Job summary

Mitie Group plc. in the Bromsgrove area is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee Major Projects (Energy & Utilities), delivering contestable connections up to 132kV and related BESS infrastructure.

You will lead end-to-end project delivery, manage budgets and reporting, engage clients for approvals, and ensure compliance with industry standards. The role offers a clear path for professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Project management qualification is essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Experience in HV/LV installations up to 132kV is essential.
• Knowledge of contestable connections up to 132kV is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end project management, ensuring scope, budget, and client expectations are met.
• Manage a portfolio of projects and maintain accurate internal/external reporting.
• Engage clients for design feedback and approval submissions.
• Plan programmes of work with key client contacts, establishing milestones and deliverables.
• Monitor financial control, including variations, and keep accurate budget records.
• Prepare detailed work instructions and ensure installation teams are briefed.
• Conduct audits on site activities and suppliers, raising non-conformances.
• Ensure compliance with NRSWA, HAUC, DNO, and IDNO specifications.
• Undertake final quality audits and submit documentation for client/DNO approval.

We're looking for an Electrical Project Manager who will deliver projects within the Major Projects (MP) portfolio, overseeing the construction, installation, and commissioning of new electricity contestable connections up to 132kV, along with associated Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) infrastructure.

• Manage a portfolio of projects and maintain accurate internal/external reporting.
