Job summary

NRL in Newcastle upon Tyne seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead major building services packages within a large construction programme. You will oversee the electrical and MEP delivery, ensuring quality, safety, and performance across all lifecycle stages.

The role requires strong leadership and technical expertise, with a track record on commercial and residential projects. This permanent, full-time position offers a negotiable salary and opportunities to drive critical works

Qualifications

Relevant third-level qualification in Building Services, Mechanical & Electrical, or an Electrical Trade background.
7+ years of building services coordination experience on commercial and residential projects.
Experience with main contractor environments.
Strong IT skills and familiarity with project management tools.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Manage all phases of electrical and MEP delivery: pre-construction to commissioning.
Oversee MEP deliverables, ensuring specs and requirements are met.
Coordinate with design teams for timely, accurate technical information.
Monitor programmes and progress to keep works on schedule.
Inspect installations against quality plans and enforce best practices.
Maintain site safety and compliance at all times.
Collaborate with subcontractors, design teams and the project team.
