Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for Brighton & South East to take full ownership of commercial projects and lead site teams across a varied portfolio.

You will plan resources, manage costs, review drawings, and coordinate with clients, consultants and main contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Electrical Project Manager or Contracts Manager.
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial electrical projects from handover to completion.
• Plan labour, materials, subcontractors and resources.
• Lead site supervisors and electrical engineers.
• Produce and maintain project programmes.
• Control costs, variations, budgets and margins.
• Attend client, contractor and site meetings.
• Ensure health & safety compliance on all projects.

Job DescriptionJob Title: Electrical Project Manager Location: Brighton, Sussex & South East Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 + OTE £60,000 + Company Vehicle Job Type: Permanent, Full-time Electrical Project Manager – Brighton & South East Are you an experienced Electrical Project Manager or Contracts Manager looking to take full ownership of your projects with a growing contractor? We're recruiting on behalf of an established electrical and building services contractor delivering commercial projects across Brighton, Sussex and the wider South East. Alongside electrical contracting, they offer fire & security, renewables, HVAC and building works, giving you real variety and room to grow.

What you'll be doing:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial electrical projects from handover to completion
• Overseeing occasional smaller construction and multi-trade projects
• Planning labour, materials, subcontractors and resources
• Leading site supervisors and electrical engineers
• Producing and maintaining project programmes
• Controlling costs, variations, budgets and margins
• Procuring materials and subcontract packages
• Reviewing drawings, specifications and technical information
• Coordinating with other trades and building services
• Attending client, contractor and site meetings
• Ensuring health & safety compliance on all projects
• Managing snagging, testing & commissioning and handover documentation

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager, Contracts Manager or similar
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial electrical installations
• Good working knowledge of BS 7671 (18th Edition)
• Commercial awareness – variations, valuations, costs and margins
• Experience managing labour, subcontractors and suppliers
• Ability to run multiple live projects at once
• Confident dealing with clients, consultants and main contractors
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition)
• Full UK driving licence
• Multi-trade or small construction project experience is desirable
