Job summary

King & Moffatt Building Services in the UK seeks an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead complex hospital and live infrastructure projects from start-up to handover. You will coordinate design, procurement, RFIs, and submittals, manage site teams and contractors, and ensure on-time delivery of substations, HV works and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in an Electrical Project Manager or similar role.
• Experience working on substations.
• HV experience.
• Experience working within live hospital infrastructure environments.
• Successful track record of delivering large-scale projects.
• Experience of supervising teams.
• Demonstrable experience delivering projects within hospital and healthcare environments.

Responsibilities

• Attend project start up meetings.
• Become familiar with all details and specifications of the project.
• Collate technical submittals ensuring they are issued, followed through until approval.
• Raise and manage RFIs.
• Maintain Progress Report weekly, reporting and managing any changes/variations.
• Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
• Oversee coordination and delivery of project plant and equipment.
• Ensure adequate materials are always available to complete the project.
• Ensure construction and commissioning programmes are in place for the job and implement the commission plan on site.
• Generate biweekly/monthly snag list and improvements.
• Manage K&M handover process and maintain K&M Document Management System.
• Meetings as required with Sub Contractors to ensure on time delivery.
• Attend general site meetings and action points raised.
• Communicate any innovative project specific works to Contracts Manager (R&D).
