Job summary

Hernshead Recruitment Ltd is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to own HV projects (£5m–£50m) from mobilisation to completion in the UK. The role focuses on delivery with a strong electrical bias, requiring on-site leadership of substations and HV works.

You will manage multiple schemes as the pipeline grows. The ideal candidate has proven HV project delivery, a solid electrical/substation background, and experience directing site teams and subcontractors while maintaining client

Qualifications

• Proven delivery of HV projects (£5m+).
• Strong electrical/substation experience.
• Experience leading site teams and subcontractors.
• Confident client-facing communication and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Lead HV infrastructure projects from mobilisation through to completion.
• Deliver safely, on programme, and within budget.
• Take full responsibility for site performance and outcomes.
• Coordinate multiple subcontractors across electrical and civil workstreams.
• Act as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee substation and electrical installation works.
