Job summary

Danny Sullivan & Sons Ltd is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial fit-out projects across London and the South East. You will take ownership from mobilisation through to completion, ensuring programmes, budgets and quality meet client expectations.

The role requires delivering office, retail or hospitality projects, strong knowledge of BS 7671, and the ability to manage subcontractors and design teams. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing electrical fit-out projects.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• CSCS or ECS Gold Card or higher.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong knowledge of BS 7671 and building services.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and project programmes.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
• Plan and coordinate project programmes to meet milestones.
• Lead client, subcontractor and design team meetings.
• Manage budgets, cost reporting, variations and final accounts.
• Ensure electrical installations comply with specifications and BS 7671.
• Review RAMS and ensure on-site safety.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site labour across projects.
• Mentor site supervisors and installation teams.
• Manage commissioning, testing, certification, and handover documentation.
• Build and maintain client relationships.

Electrical Project Manager - Commercial Fit-Out

Location: London & South East

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a well-established and growing electrical contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across London and the South East.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in managing electrical installation projects within office, retail, hospitality and commercial environments. You'll take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring programmes, budgets, quality and client expectations are delivered to the highest standard.

The Role

• Managing projects from mobilisation through to completion and client handover.
• Planning and coordinating project programmes to ensure key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Leading client, subcontractor and design team meetings.
• Managing project budgets, cost reporting, variations and final accounts.
• Ensuring electrical installations comply with project specifications, current regulations and BS 7671.
• Reviewing RAMS and ensuring all Health & Safety requirements are met on site.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and site labour across multiple projects.
• Supporting and mentoring site supervisors and installation teams.
• Managing commissioning, testing, certification, O&M manuals and project handover documentation.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships throughout project delivery.

Essential

• Previous experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an electrical contracting or M&E environment.
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent electrical qualification.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience delivering commercial fit‑out, office fit‑out, retail or hospitality projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical installations, building services and BS 7671.
• Experience managing project budgets, subcontractors, variations and final accounts.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications and project programmes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• CSCS or ECS Gold Card (or above).
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

• Knowledge of BMS, fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• First Aid at Work qualification.
