Job summary

Padstone Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a site-based role on a commercial new-build development. You will be client-facing, overseeing sub-contractors and some direct labour, and coordinating with design teams.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of electrical project management experience, trade qualifications, and a valid SMSTS/SSSTS card, plus a driving licence. Salary ranges £60k–£70k depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract costs and variations including procurement.
• Flexibility to travel, working at main office and site based as required.

Electrical Project Manager - site based.

Our client, a reputable M & E contractor is looking to recruit an Electrical Project Manager due to continued success and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to develop their career within a progressive and successful business. Working on a new build commercial development, client facing, and overseeing the sub contract companies and some direct labour.

This position is paying between 60k-70k per annum depending on experience and qualifications.

Suitable applicants will have worked as an Electrical project Manager previously and have experience delivering electrical packages on developments within the commercial new build sector. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering projects ranging in value.

Applicant Requirements:

• At least 5 years' experience and Trade Qualifications.
• Previous successful experience on Electrical Projects of £50K to £1.5 million in the commercial sector - office fit out would be preferred.
• Candidates should hold a driving licence
• Candidate to work under their own initiative, be self-motivated and a good team player.
• Candidate should hold a jib or smsts/sssts Card.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and Word would be required
