Job description

We are looking for an experienced and driven Electrical Project Manager to lead the delivery of a commercial construction project from start to finish. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the electrical scope, including planning, execution, budgeting, compliance, and coordination with stakeholders.

Electrical Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning and execution of all electrical systems on a commercial construction site

• Develop project schedules, forecasts, and budgets, and track progress against milestones

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams

• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and quality standards

• Liaise with clients, consultants, engineers, and general contractors

• Conduct site visits, monitor performance, and resolve issues as they arise

• Review technical drawings and specifications, and ensure accurate implementation

• Prepare reports, documentation, and handover materials

Electrical Project Manager Requirements:

• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in electrical project management, with a strong focus on commercial projects

• Electrical trade or engineering background with relevant qualifications

• Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and teams effectively

• Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and construction practices

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

• Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam)

• Knowledge of local building and electrical codes
