Electrical Project Manager - Data Centres - London - 12-Month Contract

Our client, an experienced principal contractor partnering with major data centre providers, is seeking a new Electrical Project Manager. The project is based in Slough, with potential long-term work in the area.

Responsibilities:

• Lead team meetings to motivate and improve performance.
• Report project updates to clients, directors, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Technical Services to ensure design and drawings are delivered, noting any issues affecting progress.
• Delegate tasks within the team while maintaining strong relationships.
• Manage procurement processes.
• Promote health and safety standards.
• Oversee installation and commissioning activities.
• Prepare handover documentation.
• Supervise subcontractors.
• Control costs and liaise with surveyors for monthly reports.
• Ensure quality control.
• Manage project risks related to schedule and budget.

Requirements:

• Previous project management experience.
• Experience managing packages from technical submittal to commissioning.
• Specific experience with data centres, including large electrical packages.
