Job summary

Involve Recruitment represents a successful Mechanical & Electrical Contractor delivering large Education, Commercial and Healthcare projects throughout the Midlands. They seek an ambitious Electrical Project Manager ready to take on a senior position within the business.

You will manage electrical delivery of large M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safety, programme, budget and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing high value Electrical or M&E projects.
• Strong operational project management experience with commercial awareness.
• Ability to lead client meetings and represent the business professionally.
• Excellent leadership and people management skills.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the successful delivery of large scale electrical projects.
• Lead project teams including Site Managers, Supervisors, Engineers and subcontractors.
• Attend client and progress meetings with confidence.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Work closely with the commercial team, contributing to cost control, variations, valuations and project reporting.
• Oversee procurement, programming, labour planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor project performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Ensure all work complies with current regulations, quality standards and health & safety requirements.

My client is a successful Mechanical & Electrical Contractor with a steady reputation for delivering large scale Education, Commercial and Healthcare projects throughout the Midlands. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Electrical Project Manager who is ready to take on a more senior position within the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has successfully delivered high value electrical installations and is now looking for greater responsibility, increased client exposure and a clear pathway into a Senior Project Management role.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the electrical delivery of large M&E projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest standards.

As a senior member of the project team, you will be expected to lead from the front, build strong client relationships and provide support and guidance to both site based and office teams.
