Electrical Project Manager

Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 + Car Allowance

Location: Bridgwater

Job Type: Full time, Permanent, on Site

Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Project Manager:

  • Deliver contract activities safely, on time, and within budget while meeting technical requirements.
  • Develop and implement strategies and plans in alignment with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Monitor progress against milestones, deadlines, and budgets, and report to key stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure lessons-learned practices are integrated.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project activities.
  • Build effective working relationships with project team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in project management of large-scale, complex projects, ideally in regulated sectors (nuclear experience is preferred).
  • At least 10 years’ industry experience.
  • HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Recognised project management qualification (e.g., APM PMQ, Prince2 Practitioner).
  • Broad understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and contract/budget management.
  • Experience with engineering/construction activities, stakeholder engagement, and CDM regulations.
