Job summary

Morson Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee multiple electrical projects across the Midlands on a permanent basis. The role is largely office-based in the South Staffordshire area with occasional site visits and a focus on delivering high-value commercial or industrial schemes.

Ideal candidates will have a strong contracting background as an electrical manager, demonstrable PM/Contracts experience, and relevant certifications such as SMSTS and ECS/JIB.

Qualifications

• Experience in project or contract management within building services.
• Strong contracting background as an electrical manager.
• Experience on high value commercial or industrial projects preferred.
• SMSTS and ECS/JIB card are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical elements on busy sites with project values up to £3m.
• Report to the operational lead and oversee electrical work across multiple sites.
• Lead site teams to ensure project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Maintain health and safety standards on site and manage on-site issues.

ELECTRICAL PROJECT MANAGER - PERMANENT - WALSALL - circa £70,000 per annum

Morson Group require an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join a leading building services contractor on a permanent basis to manage several projects across the Midlands.

Candidates should have a strong contracting background as an electrical manager and ideally experience of high value commercial or industrial projects.

This is a permanent position available from Autumn 2026.

The role will be predominantly office based in South Staffordshire area with site visits as required.

Candidates should ideally possess SMSTS and have relevant electrical trade accreditations such as ECS / JIB card.

As Electrical Project Manager, you will be reporting into the overall operational lead with responsibility for all electrical elements on busy sites with electrical values up to approximately £3m, within sectors such as commercial, leisure and education.
