Accountable for the delivery of the systems building services engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Ventilation, and Specialist Systems), liaising with clients, main contractors, and consultants.

Capable of package managing multiple Sub-Contractors, Sub-Sub-Contractors, and Suppliers from a package system engineering role.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Delivering within the project team, collaborating and coordinating with colleagues.
• Analyzing, rectifying, and managing the completion of the MEP design, using engineering acumen and business management processes.
• Coordinating and liaising with project Sub-contractors, Sub-Subcontractors, and Suppliers.
• Managing interfaces between packages.
• Developing relationships with key project stakeholders such as the Client, Design, and Construction teams.
• Identifying risks and producing and implementing mitigation plans.
• Incorporating modern methods of construction, digital technologies, and prefabrication.
• Implementing Mace's standards & project strategies.
• Working towards net zero carbon transition, managing associated emissions and reductions during delivery.

You'll need to have:

• Proficient knowledge of an engineering specialism (e.g., mechanical), including installation techniques, engineering processes, prefabrication, and commissioning requirements.
• Basic knowledge of other specialisms (e.g., electrical) and construction build elements.
• Basic knowledge of commercial management, planning processes, health and safety standards, quality assurance, and digital engineering technologies.
• Effective communication skills, adaptability, responsibility, resource management, influencing skills, and relevant qualifications (e.g., Apprenticeship, BTECH/HNC, CSCS Card, SMSTS).

You'll also have:

• The ability to perform basic design calculations.
• Experience in the construction sector.
• Professional registration with CIBSE or IET.
• Coaching and supporting others.
• A relevant Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
