Electrical Project Engineer

MEP Contractor | Building Services | Central London

Permanent Position

A leading M&E Contractor, known for delivering high-spec, technically complex projects across the UK and Europe—including data centres, life sciences, commercial developments, and education—is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer. The role involves supporting the delivery of a major life sciences project based in Kings Cross, expected to complete by summer 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing all electrical aspects of the project from design through installation and commissioning
• Review and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and the in-house team to ensure project milestones and quality standards are met
• Support procurement by preparing material take-offs and technical evaluations
• Oversee installation works to ensure compliance with project requirements and safety regulations
• Contribute to solving technical issues and implementing design changes when necessary
• Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates on status, risks, and next steps
• Support commissioning and handover activities, including testing and documentation
