Our client, a consultancy in the water engineering sector, is currently seeking a Junior Electrical Project Engineer to join their team in Leeds on a permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Creation of software User Requirement Specifications (URS)
2. Developing electrical design deliverables from schematic wiring diagrams such as Load and Instrument Drawings
3. Designing and providing input to P&IDs
4. Utilising AMTECH software for electrical design
5. Working knowledge of WIMES and process safety in hazardous areas
6. Using 2D Autodesk CAD for design purposes
7. Engagement in site installations or commissioning activities
8. Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Familiarity with the end-to-end project delivery process
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients
• Understanding of process safety and hazardous areas
