Job summary

rexx systems GmbH is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join the Harwich Manufacturing Centre. You will manage electrical, instrumentation and control system projects from design through to commissioning, ensuring safe operation of plant and equipment.

The role requires experience with HV/LV systems, hazardous areas, COMAH regulations and PLC/DCS control. You will coordinate with production, maintenance and suppliers to deliver robust engineering solutions.

Qualifications

Experience designing and modifying electrical, control and process systems.
Knowledge of COMAH regulations and related EC&I engineering responsibilities.
Design experience for HV/LV systems, 18th edition and hazardous areas (EN60079).
Experience with PLC/DCS control and field instrumentation; risk assessment and method statements.

Responsibilities

Deliver electrical, control and plant modification projects from design through to commissioning.
Design and specify electrical, control and process systems, including hazardous area requirements.
Prepare technical specifications, drawings, calculations, validation and commissioning documentation.
Manage project plans, resources, budgets, schedules, contractors and suppliers.
Coordinate with production, operations, SHEQ, maintenance and suppliers to deliver safe engineering solutions.
Ensure compliance with COMAH, site safety procedures, regulatory requirements and company systems.
