About The Role
- Coordinate responsibilities between the project team and operator as owner’s engineer during the execution phase of new projects.
- Ensure design conformity with existing Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and employer requirements.
- Define technical requirements for new projects from an operator’s perspective, in coordination with operation, maintenance, and asset management teams.
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of handover documentation and compliance with management systems (ISMS, SAP, etc.).
- Conduct design reviews for new projects during development, ensuring conformity to Employer Requirements, relevant regulations, and standards.
- Manage internal modification projects on BESS in operation, coordinating between project and operation & maintenance teams.
- Provide active feedback and support for Lessons Learned and Employer Requirements from projects, participating in internal and external expert groups to promote knowledge exchange in battery storage systems.
Job Requirements and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with several years of experience in a technical environment.
- Knowledge of HV and LV installations, I&C and automation systems, including verification of SLDs and electrical designs, project management, and relevant norms, standards, and regulations.
- Preferred knowledge in design, construction, and operation of BESS, SAP, IT/OT networks, and cost planning and control.
- Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, good communication skills, and team spirit to effectively convey ideas and targets to stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%, not regularly.
