Job summary

SES Engineering Services in Scotland is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our team and lead the technical progression of high-profile electrical and mechanical projects.

You will supervise the supply and coordination of technical information, work with BIM for fully coordinated drawings, and strive for safe, cost-efficient installations that meet client expectations. The role offers flexible working arrangements and opportunities for career progression.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee mechanical and electrical installation on projects from design through to site delivery.
  • Collaborate with BIM to produce fully coordinated installation drawings.
  • Deliver high-quality installations that meet client expectations and optimize cost.
  • Coordinate with planners to establish a clear sequence and durations.
  • Develop relationships with customers, design teams, supply chain and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
  • Work as part of a team to maintain safety and cost efficiency.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Electrical Engineers are a valuable part of our business, the focus of this role will be to manage the technical correctness of project progression, supervising the supply and co-ordination of all technical information, including Health and Safety information.

As ourElectrical Engineeryou will:

  • Be responsible forthemechanicalservices installation on projects from design through to Smart Landings.
  • Work with the BIM department toassistandproduce fully coordinated installation drawings to a standard which allows clear direction for site installation or production of offsite manufacturing.
  • Deliver a quality installation, in line with our client's expectations, maximising the profitability by smart design and earlyselection, driving our cost whilstmaintainingour standards.
  • Work with the planner to have a clear sequence of works with defined durations and resource loaded that is agreed with our client.
  • Develop andmaintainprofessional working relationship with customers, our design team, supplychainand relevant stakeholders.Ensuringeffectivecommunicationat all timesand present issuesconciselyand persuasively.
  • Working as part of a team to work safely and economically by co-ordinating activities withothers
