Job summary

The role focuses on influencing early design, improving quality, supporting bid teams and ensuring technical certainty before work reaches site.

Qualifications

• Electrical building services background.
• Experience as Technical Services Manager / Electrical Manager / Building Services Manager / MEP Manager / Preconstruction Manager.
• Strong understanding of power, lighting, life-safety and infrastructure systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the electrical technical development of MEP packages during preconstruction.
• Review electrical designs, specifications and employer's requirements.
• Assess LV infrastructure, power distribution, lighting, and life-safety systems.
• Review fire alarms, security, access control, data and life-safety systems.
• Identify design risks and technical compliance issues before contract award.
• Coordinate design development with consultants and contractors.
• Challenge designs to improve compliance, buildability and value.
• Produce comprehensive technical handovers for operational teams.
