Job summary

Freedom, part of the NG Bailey Group, is seeking an experienced Electrical Preconstruction Manager to lead a team of design engineers and drive the transition from preconstruction to construction. You will spearhead constructability reviews, influence design feasibility, and manage multiple projects with occasional travel to offices and sites.

Ideal candidates have a strong electrical or civil engineering background, chartership is encouraged, and a track record in preconstruction leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in preconstruction and construction management.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams of construction managers, supervisors, and site engineers.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, OH&S, and SHEQ.
• HND in Engineering or Construction (or equivalent).
• Health & Safety qualification (SMSTS, IOSH, or NEBOSH).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate tender requirements and assist with risk and opportunity assessments.
• Provide cost estimates and contribute to initial project scheduling.
• Lead constructability reviews and contribute to project schedules and quality plans.
• Support transition from design to construction and manage risk registers.
