Job summary

The Labour Group is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for a long-term 18-month contract in the Slough area. You will oversee electrical building services on commercial, aviation and data centre projects, coordinating with design teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include leading site teams, managing programmes, procurement, RFIs and QA, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within an M&E contractor.
• Strong knowledge of electrical building services installations.
• Experience leading substantial electrical packages and subcontractors.
• Experience in commercial fit-out, aviation or data centre projects advantageous.
• Ability to manage projects from planning through commissioning and handover.
• Strong coordination of electrical design and RFIs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical packages across commercial, aviation, and data centre projects.
• Lead Electrical Site Managers, Supervisors and subcontractors.
• Manage programmes, milestones and lookaheads.
• Coordinate electrical design development and technical information.
• Oversee procurement of electrical equipment and long-lead items.
• Coordinate with mechanical, public health and other packages.
• Monitor progress, quality and commercial performance.
• Attend client, consultant and subcontractor meetings.
• Manage variations and change control with QS team.
• Ensure installations meet specs and standards.
• Oversee QA inspections and quality control.
• Manage testing, commissioning, snagging and handover.
• Ensure works comply with Health & Safety requirements.
