Job summary

Civil Works Alliance is seeking an Electrical Plant Manager to lead the mobilisation, operation and maintenance of the Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure for the Sizewell C project at the Avonmouth HUB, near Bristol. You will oversee plant on site and coordinate delivery across construction and operation.

This role requires a proven track record managing large fleets of cranes, generators and other equipment, with a focus on safety, compliance and performance; you will develop plant

Qualifications

• 10+ years in plant management on major construction or energy projects.
• Experience managing large mixed fleets of cranes, generators, compressors.
• Proven maintenance and replacement strategies for plant.
• Proven compliance, inspections and statutory examinations.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience managing plant budgets and costs.
• Strong procurement, hire, supplier management.
• Health, safety and environmental performance.
• Experience with permit-to-work systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of mechanical, electrical and plant on site.
• Lead electrical safety and asset management programs.
• Coordinate mobilisation, inspection, commissioning and decommissioning.
• Report progress to Plant Leader and stakeholders.
• Develop plant procedures and safe work systems.
• Maintain plant records in asset management system.
• Improve operational efficiency through new technology.
