Job summary

Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is seeking an Electrical Plant Manager to oversee Mechanical & Electrical plant on the Sizewell C Avonmouth HUB, coordinating site set-up and ongoing maintenance across a major construction portfolio.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, ensure statutory compliance, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in plant utilisation and safety at a highly regulated nuclear-adjacent project.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in plant management on major construction/energy projects.
• Experience managing large fleets of construction plant and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage, operate and maintain Mechanical & Electrical infrastructure and all plant on site.
• Lead electrical safety, asset management, maintenance, commissioning and contractor performance.
• Coordinate site set-up, roll out plant systems of work across project areas.
• Develop plant procedures, reports, dashboards and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and permit-to-work systems.
• Monitor plant utilisation, maintenance records and inspections.
• Support delivery teams with forecasts and procurement coordination.
• Report progress to Plant Leader and stakeholders.
• Identify operational efficiencies with new technology or better processes.
