Job summary

Applied Automation (UK) Ltd is seeking an Electrical Assembler to join our Marine & Build to Print Division. You will build, wire and integrate electrical control panels, distribution boxes, looms and harnesses to drawings and specifications for UK and Worldwide markets.

The role involves soldering, crimping and high-standard wiring, requiring attention to detail and safe work practices. You will read schematics, use hand tools and help maintain production targets in a busy manufacturing

Qualifications

• Electrical assembly experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring symbols and diagrams.
• Proficient with various hand tools such as soldering irons, crimping tools, power tools.
• High attention to detail with a quality over quantity mindset.

Responsibilities

• Wire Bespoke electrical instrument panels
• Wire and assemble bespoke AC/DC panels
• Wire and assemble mains distribution boxes
• Assemble bespoke PCBs and sub-assemblies
• Execute heavy duty cable and loom assemblies
• Read, interpret and work from electrical schematics
• Flag material shortages or drawing queries immediately
• Manage workload to meet time sensitive production targets
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas following health and safety policies
