Job summary

ESP Utilities Group is seeking an Electrical Network Manager in Leatherhead to lead a team ensuring LV, HV and EHV networks meet statutory and regulatory requirements. You will set policy, procedures, and standards while providing Tier 2 assurance of electrical processes.

You will engage with industry and regulatory forums to manage regulatory reform, develop strategy, and optimise asset management. Strong leadership, budgeting, and stakeholder management are essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of Regulatory and HSE framework and UK-specific standards.
• Operational experience with UK electrical distribution networks.
• Broad knowledge of industry standards, specs and legislation for distribution networks.
• Computer literacy and data analytics capability.
• Ability to drive continuous improvement and collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Lead team to ensure networks comply with ESPUG standards and legislation.
• Develop and implement policy, procedures, and technical standards.
• Provide Tier 2 assurance of electrical processes and safety compliance.
• Engage with industry forums, regulators and internal teams on risk and policy.
• Manage budgets and asset management activities with cost-efficiency in mind.
• Oversee network emergencies and crisis response to minimise disruption.
• Establish KPIs and report performance, safety, compliance and efficiency.
