Job summary

KPI-Recruiting-Ltd is seeking an Electrical Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a major manufacturing site in North Manchester. The role is on a rotating shift pattern (6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am) with a total package of 55-60k including shift allowance.

You will perform planned, predictive and reactive maintenance to keep plant operations running safely and efficiently. You will bring an apprenticeship or electrical qualification, industrial experience, and some additional electrical

Qualifications

• A recognised engineering apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Industrial/manufacturing industry experience is essential.
• Opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement on site.
• Ideally additional electrical training such as HNC or 17th/18th Edition or 2391.

Responsibilities

• Respond quickly to unscheduled plant stoppages to minimise downtime.
• Utilise system for recording labour, materials, and planned maintenance tasks.
• Safely and efficiently repair plant equipment and services.
• Maintain overall efficiency of the maintenance department, including tool management, housekeeping and spare parts control.
• Work within budget guidelines and seek cost-reduction opportunities.
• Identify and pursue personal development and training opportunities.
• Share and implement best practices within a process driven industry.

A highly respected and well known manufacturing brand in Manchester are seeking an electrical bias maintenance engineer to complete their successful engineering function on shift.

The role focuses on performing planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance tasks across a wide variety of machinery, ensuring optimal performance of the plant in line with health, safety, and quality standards, while driving improvements across the site.

Duties & Responsibilities:
