Job summary

Mitie is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias in London to maintain critical infrastructure on a Heathrow Airport contract. 40 hours a week on site, with on-call duties as needed.

• Experience in facilities maintenance within critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of electrical installation and compliance standards.
• Understanding of safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LV distribution and oversee power systems.
• Inspect generator, fuel systems, UPS and batteries.
• Maintain lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Service HVAC to ensure reliable operation.
• Maintain fire and intruder alarm systems and water hygiene.
• Test lightning protection and general site infrastructure.
• Supervise contractors and liaise with clients on site activities.
