Job summary
Tiro Associates - Executive Search & Selection is recruiting a Multi Skilled Engineer in Northampton. The role involves a mix of planned and reactive maintenance to keep site equipment running efficiently.
You will analyze faults across HMIs, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems and work with production to improve reliability and plant performance. The ideal candidate is apprentice-trained to Level 3 with experience in instrument calibration and CMMS, and preferably has food manufacturing exposure.
Qualifications
- Apprentice-trained electrical or mechanical multi-skilled engineer with Level 3 qualification.
- Experience with instrument calibration, CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance.
- Food manufacturing experience is valuable.
Responsibilities
- Planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment.
- Fault finding on HMIs, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems.
- Support production to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
- Complete maintenance records and identify root causes.
- Drive improvements to repair times, reliability and KPIs.
- Maintain safety, hygiene and food safety standards.
