Job summary

Tiro Contracts in Northampton is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join a busy manufacturing maintenance team. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding, and drive improvements to equipment reliability.

An apprentice-trained electrical or mechanical engineer, Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds, with CMMS and instrumentation calibration experience, is preferred. The role operates 6am-6pm on a 42-hour week with a 10% shift allowance and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained electrical or mechanical engineer with Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds.
• Experience with instrument calibration and CMMS.
• Food manufacturing experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across site equipment.
• Fault find on HMIs, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems.
• Work with production to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Complete maintenance records and identify root causes.
• Support continuous improvement and plant efficiency projects.
• Maintain high safety and hygiene standards.
