Job summary

Tiro Associates Ltd in Northampton is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to maintain site equipment, troubleshoot control systems and support production to improve reliability. The role involves a mix of preventative and reactive work within a busy manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates will be apprentice-trained in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines, with Level 3 qualifications and experience in instrument calibration, CMMS and predictive maintenance.

Qualifications

Apprentice-trained Electrical or Mechanical Multi Skilled Engineer.
Qualified to Level 3 / City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
Experience with instrument calibration, CMMS and preventive/predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

Planned preventative and reactive maintenance across site equipment.
Fault finding on HMIs, PLCs, DCS and SCADA systems.
Supporting production to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
Completing maintenance records and identifying root causes.
Improving repair times, reliability and engineering KPIs.
Supporting continuous improvement and plant efficiency projects.
Maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene and food safety.
