Job summary

Orbital Recruitment is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a manufacturing site in Chesterfield. You will play a key role in maintaining plant and equipment across the site, handling planned and reactive maintenance, and contributing to electrical and mechanical project work.

The role offers a permanent contract, 42.5 hours per week, and regular overtime with a focus on training and long-term career development.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with some Mechanical experience.
• Experience within manufacturing, engineering or heavy industry environments is advantageous.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Responding to plant and equipment breakdowns.
• Planned and reactive maintenance.
• Electrical and mechanical project work / Equipment installations.
• Fault finding and repairs.
• Working closely within a maintenance engineering team.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety.
