Streamline Search Ltd. on behalf of a well-established structural steel fabricator in the UK is seeking an Engineer with an Electrical/Mechanical bias to join the busy Workshop team.

The successful candidate will fault find, repair and maintain machinery such as drills, blasters, saws, conveyors, welding units and overhead cranes, with safety at the forefront. This full-time, workshop-based role offers £40,000-£45,000 depending on experience, private healthcare, a salary sacrifice pension, and

Competenze

• Recognised trade apprenticeship or relevant Engineering qualification and experience.
• Experience in Engineering or Maintenance environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Mansioni

• Fault find and repair breakdowns on machinery and plant equipment.
• Carry out preventative maintenance per maintenance plan.
• Maintain maintenance records and equipment data.
• Conduct safety checks and risk assessments.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and COSHH.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance and energy efficiency.
• Fabricate and fit parts as required for repairs and maintenance.
